An appeal to the parents

  • Parents are requested to extend their full co-operation to the teachers and the school authorities with regard to the growth in knowledge, good conduct and character of the children.
  • Parents must send their children regularly and punctually to the school.
  • Parents should ensure the school diary is carried to school everyday. Parents should scrutinize the school diary every day and note the announcements, any communication and home assignments as given and acknowledge the same every day.
  • They should ensure that work is done by the children regularly and must encourage them to cultivate the habit of neatness, self-help and systematic work.
  • Any difficulty connected with the progress of child in studies may be communicated to the school authorities.
  • Parents are requested not to contact staff members of the school for private tuition.
  • Parents are requested not to meet any teacher during class hours, but under special circumstances the Principal or Vice Principal may grant them permission to meet the teachers after the school hours. Parents are not allowed to meet the teachers one week prior to tests / exams and assessments.
  • Parents should meet the concerned teachers only on Second Saturday 8.00
  • a.m. and 12.00 noon as per the schedule given.
  • Parents to dress in formals at the time of dropping and picking their wards.
  • Children should bring their text / Home work books to school when required. Children will not be permitted to call their parents in this regard.
  • Your vehicles are not allowed beyond the main gate.
  • Regarding any clarification of rules, kindly do not engage yourselves in unnecessary altercations with the security. Meet the office or person concerned.
  • Parents, staff and students are strictly prohibited from speaking to the media with regard to any school affairs. Parents and guardians are 'ispo facto', members of the Parent – Teacher Association of the school which aims at fostering closer relationship, mutual understanding and cooperation between home and school
  • Parents are strongly urged to attend Parent – Teacher meetings, Sports Day, School Annual Day and other functions in the school.
  • Please ensure timely pick up of your ward during the time of Sports, Annual Days and Picnic exactly at the time mentioned.
  • Attendance is compulsory for all school functions.
  • Please read all our circulars and respond to them.
  • Please give nominal pocket money if required.
  • Fine will be collected if payments are not made within the stipulated period.
  • Change of address or phone numbers should be communicated to the school immediately in writing. Change of name shall not be made, unless a notarized affidavit is produced.
  • Parents are requested to respond immediately to notes sent by the School Executives with regard to their child's work and conduct in the school.
  • Whenever it rains heavily or when the public transport is suspended or when there is an emergency, the parents at their own discretion, may take such measures so as not to expose their children to any risk.
  • Parents and students are hereby informed that if any student is found to have caused physical / mental injury to another student, the student will be suspended immediately from school for a period of time depending on the severity of the injury and intent to harm. Parents are requested to advise their children to be careful about their actions in school. Parents are also requested to note that if there is a dispute or misunderstanding / fight between / among students, the matter must be referred to the school authorities and not deal with it among yourselves.
  • Promotion Rules :
    • A student will be promoted if he / she has obtained a minimum of 40% in all Tests and Examinations.
    • Parents will kindly note that the annual promotion is decided after careful consideration. The results communicated to them will be final and cannot be altered under any circumstances.
    • If a student is detained in the same class for two consecutive years, he / she will be compulsorily given the Transfer Certificate immediately on the second detention.
  • Attendance on the re-opening day and last day of each term is compulsory. A penalty of Rs.200/- will be levied on students who do not attend classes on the re-opening day and the last working day. A fine of Rs.20/- per day will be collected for the subsequent days. If a student is absent for more than a week his / her name will be removed from the rolls and re-admission will be at the Principal's discretion.
  • Parents are requested to send only chocolates for distribution on child's birthday. No gifts are allowed.
  • Parents are requested not to crowd around in front of the school office.
  • Admission number of child to be stored with the parents.
  • All financial dues should be cleared and library books to be returned before the school leaving certificate is issued by the school.
  • Only parents should interact with the school office regarding their children/ward.
  • ADMISSION TO SIBLINGS IS NOT ASSURED.

RULES & REGULATIONS

  • Prior sanction from the Executives is needed for more than four days absence from the school. A student having less than 75% attendance will not be permitted to continue in the school. Long absenteeism will be viewed seriously if prior permission is not taken from the Principal. The name of those students who absent themselves without leave application for 7 consecutive days or who are irregular in attendance will be removed from the roll
  • Parents are not permitted to take their ward home during school hours for any reason except sudden sickness. In such cases Parents/Guardians should pick up their ward and not to send any other relative or friend however close to your child or you, to pick the child from school.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS

  • Students are expected to maintain strict discipline in the school campus. They should abide by the rules & regulations of the school. Students found indulging in indiscipline may invite punishment. In case of serious or repeated breach of discipline, students may face expulsion from the school.
  • Students must speak in English while at school.
  • Students should reach their classroom 15 minutes before the first bell goes in the morning.
  • Students must bring his/her books, water bottle & diary daily to the school.
  • Students must wear proper, neat and clean ironed / pressed uniform to the school.
  • Refinement of character, obedience and neatness in person, dress & punctuality are required at all times.
  • No child will be allowed to go home in between working hours. Parents have to plan all their doctor appointments, passport renewals, travel plans or any other celebrations after school hours. No permission will be accorded by the school to leave school early until it is an emergency.
  • During the school timings students should not leave the school premises without the permission of Principal/Vice Principal.
  • Students are not allowed to bring items like cell phones etc, to the school.
  • Students are not allowed to make phone calls without permission.
  • Any damage done to the school property like breakage or disfigurement through writings or scratching on the walls & furniture must be compensated by those who are responsible. Damage done even by accident must be reported to the Principal immediately and the child will have to pay the cost of the damaged articles.
  • Leave will not be granted during periodic tests and exams.
  • No child is permitted to go back home after every periodic test.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • The diary must be brought to the school everyday and followed in detail. Daily lessons/homework should be inscribed therein. Parents and teachers should regularly see the calendar and sign the diary, reports and remarks. This promotes the tone of study and discipline in the students.
  • No school-leaving certificate will be issued until all amount due to the school has been paid in full and all library books taken by the student are returned.
  • It is compulsory for parents to take the school-leaving certificate within 30 days after the child has been withdrawn from the school. Otherwise his/her refundable security deposit will be forfeited.
